Welcome
Agape Apothecary is my eclectic offering of education on your journey to natural healing and a more natural life. A culmination of honouring many cultures from the Indigenous Peoples to Chinese & Ayurvedic formulas, minerals & nutritional, balms, salves, lotions, soaps, & many other folk medicine ideals passed down from generation to generation for centuries proving to support the body's systems in their times of unbalance. There is no concentration on one single plant, extract from a plant or any "cure all", but a call back to a deeper knowledge of all the wonderful creations that the Great Creator has left to nourish us. Sometimes, I am able to wildcraft my own ingredients just as our ancestors did before us. I honor the earth by not pillaging areas for plants and will only gather with intent and love. The Great Creator and Healer made such a wonderful place for us to enjoy and to nourish our minds, bodies and souls and I want to expound on that with everything I do. I too, am on this journey and am far from perfect but reaching daily to become more in tune with the energies all around us.

Today, I am excited to let everyone know I am adding something new to my offerings. Agape's Healing Hands Doula is at your service!!
I am currently a member of DONA and have taken classes to become a Doula. I am now working toward my DONA Birth Doula certification, but am able to officially offer my services to you as a Doula while I am working toward the final certification. I am so grateful to have the support of my family in this endeavor and am looking forward to supporting families in their birth process and beyond. After I receive my certification, my hope is to continue on to certify as a Post-partum Doula as well. I'll update as the journey continues...

It is with great sadness that I announce the closing of the Apothecary until further notice. On May 15, 2021 there was an electrical fire in the workshop and 95% of the contents were a loss. We are currently at a stand still while awaiting the insurance to tell us what they will and won't do. I am thankful that no one was hurt and the firefighters were able to put it out quickly before any damage was done to my hubby's side of the building. I will still be providing doula services and eventually back to oils spas and cupping (all my oils, table, and cups were lost in the fire. Thank you for your support and love. We haven't decided just how to proceed yet, but all my stock was also a loss. The only stock that remains is currently at a booth at Down the Rabbit Hole on Main Street in Shawnee, OK, as well as Gentry's hair salon also on Main Street. I am currently posting updates, as I can, on my facebook page... so be sure to check it out frequently.

Many birth centers are now allowing a doula to attend the birth along with one other "visitor" aka partner. I have uploaded the forms to this website to begin the process of our chat for me to become your doula. If you are interested in having doula support for your pregnancy, please check with your caregiver and your birthing center to see if they are allowing the additional support to join you. If so, please contact me and consider me for your doula needs.
